At that time, for example, the FCA took the lead, recovered by GM in 2017 and 2018. Ford, which went to sixth place in 2016, has returned to its traditional fourth position. Renault returned to fifth place, seventh in the previous two years, while Hyundai lost one position every year, falling from fourth to sixth position, the same happe- ned to Toyota, which went from fifth to seventh post (see the chart next page).
